Lamar Odom Reportedly Hires Robert Shapiro for DUI Case

Lamar Odom apparently has hired O.J. Simpson's lawyer Robert Shapiro to represent him in court following his DUI arrest on August 30. Before working for Lamar, Robert was hired by Rob Kardashian as he faced misdemeanor battery and theft charges in May following a reported paparazzi attack in March.

According to TMZ, Robert probably will plead no contest to one count of DUI and get probation. In addition, Lamar will have to attend alcohol education class. His driving license will be automatically suspended for one year because he refused to take a test to check alcohol in his blood.

Multi-talented artist Matthew Morrison brought his lethal combo of Broadway-polished singing and dancing skills to Sunday night's "MDA Show of Strength", the annual televised benefit concert held each Labor Day Weekend. The 34-year-old actor was just one of many Hollywood stars who lent their talents to the telethon to help raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The "Hairspray" stage actor, who came into prominence as the well-meaning music teacher Mr. Will Schuester on the hit TV series "Glee", performed the classic "On the Street Where You Live" from the musical "My Fair Lady" which was right up his alley. Morrisson was in his element in his silver-gray suit, dishing out his song and dance routine backed by the band and even doing some flips with his matching hat.

Nine Inch Nails Rocks Second Day of Made in America Festival

Nine Inch Nails wrapped up the second night of Made in America Festival, an event which was curated by hip-hop mogul Jay-Z. Trent Reznor and his bandmates hit the stage at the festival and performed their songs for fans, who packed the Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Sunday, September 1.

The band appeared on the stage around 09:30 P.M. During their 90-minute set, Reznor and the gang entertained the crowd with 19 songs that included "Closer", "Head Like a Hole", "Survivalism" and "Burn", in addition to performing new songs from their new album "Hesitation Marks".

Khloe Kardashian Tweets Cryptic Message Amid Marital Woe

Khloe Kardashian says she is not unbreakable. The reality TV star, whose marriage with Lamar Odom is said to have been on the rocks, hints through her recent Twitter posts that she's trying to stay strong amid all problems she's currently facing.

"As much as I wish I were made of steel... I'm not," the younger sister of Kim Kardashian tweeted on Sunday, September 1. She followed it up with an optimistic message, "I'm pretty damn close to it though hehe."

'Gravity' Set to Make Its Mexico Debut as Morelia Opener

Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity" once again gets the honor to open another prestigious event. After the Venice Film Festival, where it debuted to rave reviews, the sci-fi movie starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney has been tapped to kick off Mexico's Morelia International Film Festival, which runs October 18-27.

Before heading to Mexico, "Gravity" will first be screened as a Special Presentation at the Toronto Film Festival. Judging from the ecstatic reaction it received at Venice as well as Telluride on Saturday, August 31, many predict that the pic from Warner Bros. will be an awards contender.

Michael Lohan's Girlfriend Kate Major Avoids Prison Over Battery Charges

Celebrity father Michael Lohan's on-again-off-again girlfriend Kate Major just avoided jail time for the five counts of battery she was charged with by her neighbors in Boca Raton, Florida. Major, who has an eight-month-old son Landon with Lindsay Lohan's father, pleaded guilty to the charges and struck a plea deal with prosecutors so she could dodge prison.

Instead of spending time behind bars, the 30-year-old Major had been sentenced to three years probation and would have to render a hundred hours of community service. She will also need to undergo random drug testing and treatment for alcohol abuse and her overall mental health as well as anger management sessions aside from paying $12,500 for the assault charges.

Amanda Bynes' Twitter Account Got Hacked, Star Didn't Tweet From Psychiatric Ward

Amanda Bynes didn't update her Twitter account from the UCLA Medical Center, where she is currently treated due to her deteriorating mental condition. After it was reported that the actress resurfaced on the social media site with a tweet which read, "I love Drake," her attorney denies it was from Bynes.

"Amanda's Twitter account has been hacked," Tamar Arminak, an attorney for the former Nickelodeon star, tells Radar Online. "She is at the UCLA Medical Center with no access to phones or computers."

Selena Gomez Set to Perform at Dubai Music Week

Selena Gomez has officially been added to the line-up of performers for the first Dubai Music Week, which is set to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday, September 27. The "Love You Like a Love Song" singer is set to join previously-announced headliners, will.i.am and Timbaland, who will both perform on Thursday, September 26.

"Selena Gomez is a great addition to the line-up for Dubai Music Week," Hamad Bin Mejren, executive director of business tourism at Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing, confirmed Gomez's upcoming appearance. "The calibre of artists who are performing in the first Dubai Music Week is a testament to Dubai's position as the leading entertainment and music hub in the region."

Clark Gable's Son Charged With DUI and Hit-and-Run Following Six-Car Crash

John Clark Gable, the son of "Gone With the Wind" actor Clark Gable, has been hit with misdemeanor charges of DUI and hit-and-run following accident in Malibu in April. If convicted, the son of the Rhett Butler depicter can face jail time. However, TMZ reports that it is unlikely.

Law enforcement officers say that John was not drunk during the incident. They attribute the incident to prescription medication. John is scheduled to appear in front of judge on September 30.

After the media went abuzz with reports that he dissed current popular boyband One Direction, Justin Timberlake has denied saying that he and his band NSYNC were better than the British-Irish heartthrobs. The MTV Video Vanguard Award recipient said his statement was taken out of context and that he was actually responding to a question on which group would win a pie-eating contest.

"I thought the question was about a pie eating contest. My bad. #newsworthy," tweeted the "Take Back the Night" singer on September 1. He was previously quoted as saying, "I have not seen them on stage, but I'd be willing to say that we're better than them," then adding, "I've seen them a couple times and I like those guys."

Olga Kurylenko Circles Yves Saint Laurent Biopic

Olga Kurylenko is eyeing a biopic as her next starring vehicle. Screen Daily learns that the Ukrainian-born actress, who recently starred alongside Tom Cruise in "Oblivion", is in negotiation for an undisclosed role in "Saint Laurent", which is set to begin shooting in October with Bertrand Bonello as the director and writer.

The movie, co-scripted by Thomas Bidegain, will focus on the French designer's fashion house and its 60s and 70s heyday as the most famous and innovative label in the world. Gaspard Ulliel will be the lead with Jeremie Renier as his partner, Pierre Berge, and Lea Seydoux as his muse and the house's accessories and jewellery designer, Loulou de la Falaise.
